Launching a fine-art photography career can be a challenge, but PDN has you covered through The Curator, our annual competition that culminates in a group show in New York City.

The Curator will return to Foley Gallery this summer to exhibit the work of six fine-art photographers—last year's opening reception was a huge success, drawing in attendees from fine art and publishing, and receiving online coverage by W magazine and Observer.

We are incredibly proud of last year's winners, who have continued to do amazing things: Frances F. Denny (image pictured) was recently named an emerging photographer to watch in the prestigious PDN's 30; Amy Friend was named a finalist in Poland's Grand Prix Fotofestival 2016 and will her exhibit in June, and Maija Tammi exhibited her "Milky Way" work at the London Art Fair this past January.

In addition to the group show, one grand-prize winner will receive $3,500, and all six photographers will receive a prize package from B&H, Moab Paper and more. Winners will also be published in the August Fine-Art Issue of PDN and in an online gallery on pdnonline.com.
