The Department of Art & Art History in the College of Liberal Arts at Auburn University is pleased to announce
Biggin Gallery's 2016 Juried Fine
Art Student Exhibition.
The exhibition includes selected works by current art students, which are
eligible for numerous awards, including the Joyce & Roger Lethander
Purchase Award and Merit Awards in Art, the Dean’s Choice Purchase
Award, Art Department Merit Awards, and the James E. Furr Award for
Excellence in Innovation. There will be a presentation
of awards and an opening reception on Monday, March 28
at 5:00 pm in Biggin Hall. The presentation features the Dr. Joseph
Aistrup, Dean of the College of Liberal Arts, and our distinguished
visiting juror Jamillah
James, Assistant Curator at the Hammer Museum in Los Angeles, CA. The event is free and open to the public.
