Celebrate SCAD alumni during Family and Alumni Weekend

Applaud our alumni award winners and attend a keynote by Jesse Hildreth (B.F.A. visual effects) prior to a screening of “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.” Hildreth, a senior lighting TD at Industrial Light & Magic in Vancouver, will share a behind the scenes look at his work on the film. Hildreth’s illustrious career at ILM comprises work on “Star Wars Episode 8,” “Sully,” “Jungle Book” and “The Martian.”

2017 alumni award recipients:

· Emerging Alumna: Osayi Endolyn (M.F.A. writing), senior writer at IBM and associate editor at Southern Foodways Alliance

· Distinguished Alumnus: Greg Jacobs (B.F.A. historic preservation) founder of Landmark Preservation

· Distinguished Alumnus: Jesse Hildreth (B.F.A. visual effects), senior lighting TD at Industrial Light & Magic
