SCAD Speaker Lab

SCAD Speaker Lab Winter 2016
Do you have a presentation coming up and want to brush up your skills? Maybe you want to conquer fears and be more confident in front of a crowd. Whether it’s a presentation for a small group or large, you can gain assistance from The SCAD Speaker Lab.
The Speaker Lab is staffed by Communication faculty and is open to the entire SCAD community (students, alumni, staff and faculty) on ground in Savannah and via SCAD Connect for all locations. We offer coaching for any presentation, ranging from a classroom to professional setting, and for individuals as well as for groups. Find out how to design and deliver a persuasive message, finesse your use of visual aids, moderate your anxiety and use nonverbal communication to your advantage as you become a successful presenter.
The Lab is open during weeks four through nine of Winter quarter on Fridays, from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. We’re located at the SCAD Museum of Art, Room 213.
Sign up for a 20 minute appointment by going to My SCAD, Resources tab, then scroll down to the Academic Resource Network and you’ll see the link to the Speaker Lab. We’re also now available via SCAD Connect; details are on the Speaker Lab page. Use the Speaker Lab and make your presentation jitters a thing of the past!
