Documentary Collaboration with SCAD Alumni Atelier Ambassador, Hasani Sahlehe

Hasani Sahlehe, SCAD's alumni atelier, is interested in a collaborating with a photography student in terms of documenting the final days of preparation leading up to our Alumni Atelier Showcase. The Showcase will take place on May 18 from 6:30-8pm.

Sahlehe's project is an exhibition experience that incorporates painting, sound design, and staging. He is in the final stages of creating 3 large scale paintings and an audio composition to accompany the pieces for this exhibition. He will also transform the exhibition space by incorporating alternative lighting and freestanding installations. He would like to have a photography student document this process. He will provide a polaroid camera and film for the student to use while this project is taking place (as this relates to his concept.) However, the student is welcome to use any additional documentary method that they would prefer.

Sahlehe requires that the student works primarily, or has familiarity with documentary work. He is extremely flexible as far as scheduling goes.
