"The End of the World" 2012 Southeast Regional Conference

Taking its lead from the theories surrounding the Mayan calendar, the Southeast SPE Regional Conference will explore, "The End of the World". Human beings certainly have the capacity to contribute to this outcome as individuals and as societies. It is an opportunity to examine how we interact with each other and the planet – not only the destructive aspects of the equation, but the positive efforts made every day to avert disaster.
