Selador
Solo Exhibition by Erica Luedtke
Friday April 8th 6-9PM

Non-Fiction Gallery is pleased to announce SELADOR, a solo exhibition by Erica Luedtke taking place Friday April 8th to Monday April 11th, 2016. The opening reception will take place on Friday, April 8th from 6pm-9pm with an artist talk at 7pm. This event is free and open to the public

The exhibition is a collection of Erica Luedtke’s exploration of the idea of painting as an environment, utilizing various techniques in paint application as well as scale and color luminosity. The work includes multiple large-scale paintings on Tyvek. The formal elements of these works, including scale and color, allow light to reflect off the work to create a luminous environment of color in the space in which the work is displayed.

Erica Luedtke (United States, 1993) is a processed-based artist who works with painting and installation. She is receiving a BFA in painting from the Savannah College of Art and Design in the spring of 2016. She has exhibited her work internationally in Lacoste, France, and domestically in Cincinnati, Ohio, and Savannah, Georgia. Luedtke has participated in various Open Studio events and group exhibitions and her work is part of SCAD’s Permanent Collection. She is currently living and working in Savannah, Georgia.
