Silver and Ink THIS WEEK

The 6th annual SCAD Photography Department Silver and Ink event hosts artist lectures, business panel discussions, student portfolio reviews and an exhibition of student work. The schedule for the weekend of the event, April 24-27 is below. All events are free an open to the public except for the student portfolio reviews. The Silver and Ink exhibition, held at the Gutstein Gallery, 201 East Broughton Street, is open April 14- June 1, 2014.

Thursday, April 24, 5:00 - 6:30pm Ain’t Bad Photography Magazine alumni event highlights the local quarterly publication that promotes new photographic art. Join SCAD alumni and Ain’t Bad founders Carson Sanders (B.F.A., photography, 2013) and Taylor Curry (B.F.A., photography, 2012) who will present editions of their magazine and answer questions about the ways in which their mission supports a progressive community of artists from around the world in a printed publication and web-based forum.
