this lecture, titled "As Photographed by Bernd and Hilla Becher:
Considering the Architecture of the Timber Frame Houses of the Siegen
Industrial Region," scholar Karl Kiem discusses the German
photographers’ internationally acclaimed artworks. For the first time,
an in-depth investigation explores the structure and substance of the
timber frame houses.
