wedding photography internship


Shannon Christopher Photography is looking for two candidates that wish to learn all aspects of running a wedding photography business. This internship involves the technical (training in proper lighting, composition and exposure) along with proper business practices (relationship building, selling you and an experience and understanding your value) that improve an artist’s chances

to succeed long-term.

The interns will work primarily as assistants to Shannon during wedding and engagement shoots. This involves close interaction with all clients in high-energy situations. Intern candidates should have affable personalities with a mindset for achieving goals. Candidates will work 4-12 hours a week with most work being Saturdays and the occasional two hour weekday evening session. Monthly one on one meetings will be scheduled with Shannon for portfolio review, instruction and general questions regarding all aspects of the business. Intern may also arrange Shannon to be present as a resource for one of their personal shoots.
