District Quarterly Call for Submissions

The Student Media Center at SCAD recently launched a new publication: a quarterly printed magazine called District Quarterly.

What is it?: District Quarterly is an award-winning student-produced magazine featuring original work by SCAD students, including fiction, non-fiction, poetry, sequential art, illustration, photography and more. The different media is combined by subject and theme to create a cohesive publication each quarter.

When is it published?: District Quarterly is published during the fall, winter and spring quarters every year at SCAD.

How can I get a copy?: Copies are available in the Student Media Center and on the first floor of Keys Hall, 516 Abercorn Street. District Quarterly is also available online at www.scaddistrict.com/quarterly and copies will be available at the magazine launch each quarter.

How can students get their work published?: Each issue of District Quarterly has a theme. The theme for the first issue was travel. The theme for the winter quarter issue is love and lust. Submissions for the winter quarter issue must be sent in to quarterly@scaddistrict.com by Dec. 18. Look for the winter issue of the magazine to launch in mid-February.

You can also visit us on the Web at www.scaddistrict.com/quarterly.
