Graduate Student Opportunity to Meet and Talk with NYTimes Art Critic Michael Kimmelman

Michael Kimmelman – Graduate Students at the Museum
April 22, 2009, 11:00 a.m.
SCAD Museum of Art
The New York Times chief art critic Michael Kimmelman will have an informal discussion with SCAD graduate students at the museum. "Good art is generous," says Kimmelman. "It's about encouraging people to look more closely at what's around them." He has visited Cartier-Bresson in Paris, Lucian Freud in London and Michael Heizer in the middle of the desert in Nevada. Seating is limited. Those interested should contact Marie Belisle at 525-7191 or email mbelisle@scad.edu.

I'm thinking that super-enthusiastic undergrads might be able to attend, but please contact Marie to confirm that there is space, as preference will be given to grad students.
