Web Design Job

Freelance Jr. Production Designer

We're looking for a freelance junior production designer with 1 - 2 years
experience to work 20 hours a week on site starting immediately. We're an
international mobile services company that bridges music, mobile phones, and
social networking. You would be assisting the two web designers in
designing/producing WAP (mobile) banners & landing pages, web landing pages,
Flash banners and HTML/CSS finagling. You need to able to work within a fast
pace environment, deadlines and deliver outstanding work. We're looking for
someone who's fun, creative, efficient and likes espresso.

Job Description

• WAP banner & interface design (with some XHTML)
• Designing Static & Flash landing pages and building them in HTML/CSS
(possibly Ajax as well)
• Flash & static banner design and production
• User testing pages and sites on multiple mobile phone and computer
platforms
• HTML newsletter coding and site maintenance

Skills Desired

Must Have:
• WAP design experience (recent/current school projects are okay)
• Design Skills & software: Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, Fireworks
• Flash Animation & some ActionScript
• 2+ years experience in XHTML & HTML
• 2+ years experience in CSS
• Ability to juggle multiple complex projects
• A laptop
• Eligible to work in the US
• Reside in the NYC/NJ/CT area. NO Agencies & NO Outsourcing.

Super Extra Brownie Points:
• XML, JavaScript or PHP
• Experience in Ajax (Asynchronous Java Script)

Freelance: DOE and portfolio.
