Call for Entry

Deadline October 18th

Photographers!

The New Delta Review would like to invite you to submit your work for publication in our winter, 2013 issue. NDR is a literary and arts journal operated by the graduate students in the MFA program at Louisiana State University. After over twenty-five years in print, we now host our contributors online at ndrmag.org. We invite you to explore our most recent issue, which features artworks by Mark Skwarek, Animesh Anand, and Dawn Black.

In our next issue, we hope to feature both traditional artwork (paintings, drawings, photography, installation/sculpture images) and new media (video, animation, and hypertext). We would love to see work that utilizes our online format and represents creative and original possibilities for art on the web.

We are proud to also be currently accepting submissions for the first annual Ryan R. Gibbs Award for Photography. Together, the photographs submitted should tell a visual "story" or exhibit a unified theme of the artist’s choosing. The prize for this contest is $500 and "front page" publication in the Winter, 2013 issue of NDR.

Please apply to the Ryan R. Gibbs Award for photography by following the link above.

Please send general submissions (not intended for the Ryan R. Gibbs) as med-res JPGS (no larger than 4MB) to NewDeltaRevArt@gmail.com.

For video/new media submissions, please email links only to NewDeltaRevArt@gmail.com, or mail a CD/DVD to:

When sending new media artwork, bear in mind that because our website is operated by Wordpress we may need to collaborate post-acceptance to ensure site compatibility. In some cases, this may require hosting your work on a third party site.

With all submissions, please include a brief artist's statement/description of project, bio, and contact information.

Thank you, and we look forward to seeing your work!

Sincerely,

Laura Theobald
