Awarding a Gallery Show in NYC + Two-page Spread in Flash Art Magazine + $10,000

Hello from Artists Wanted!

We are reaching out to let you know we’ve launched our 3rd annual Self Competition , a juried, open call for art and photography with the goal of launching the story of one artist on the world stage. One visionary will be presented with a $10,000 grant , a Two-page spread in Flash Art Magazine and a Gallery Show in the See // Exhibition Space in New York City.

THE MISSION :

In each work you create lies a story of who you are as an artist. Whether your work embodies who you are, reveals an aspect of your personality, expresses your point of view, addresses your personal history/journey, and/or explores your unique identity, each artwork you create carries a part of your story. This is a worldwide creative search to uncover the story of one artist to launch on the world stage.

THE PRIZES:

The Grand Prize Package
One artist, determined by the Grand Prize jury, will be selected to receive:

• A Solo Gallery Show in NYC , at See // Exhibition Space
• $10,000 cash grant
• A Two-Page Spread in Flash Art Magazine
• Printed Publication in the limited edition “Self: The Story of Artists” book to be distributed worldwide
• Online publicity promoting you and your work

The People’s Choice Award
The public will cast their vote and the artist with the most viewed and highest voted portfolio will receive:

• $2,500 cash grant
• Printed Publication in the limited edition “Self: The Story of Artists” book to be distributed worldwide
• International exposure via a feature published by Artists Wanted

(The People's Choice Voting has no influence on the Grand Prize selection.)
