SPE is accepting proposals for the 50th annual SPE national conference "Conferring Significance: Celebrating Photography's Continuum " March 7-10, 2013 in Chicago, IL.

Proposals will be accepted for the 2013 conference March 22, 2012 – June 1, 2012. Topics are not required to be theme-based, and may include but are not limited to, imagemaking, history, contemporary theory and criticism, multidisciplinary approaches, new technologies, effects of media and culture, educational issues, funding, and presentations of work in photography, film, video, performance and installation.
