GALLERY DIRECTOR AND CURATOR OF COLLECTIONS

SUMMARY :The Gallery Director/Curator of Collections builds relationships with artists and art patrons; plans, curates, and installs exhibitions; oversees art gallery openings and any art-related events; and participates in campus and larger community events such as prospective student visits. The Gallery Director/Curator of Collections is expected to maintain a high level of personal and professional integrity while maintaining and inspiring a positive, collaborative, and constructive work environment that is innovative, professional, disciplined, and efficient.

EXPECTATION OF EMPLOYEE:

Adheres to College Policy and Procedures
Acts as a role model within and outside the College
Performs duties as workload necessitates
Demonstrates flexible and efficient time management and ability to prioritize workload
Keeps regular schedule and consistently reports to work on time prepared to perform duties of position
Meets regularly with supervisor to provide updates and receive feedback
Maintains regular communication with art department faculty
Maintains a positive and respectful attitude
Meets Department productivity standards
