PDN Photo Annual

The PDN Photo Annual first deadline is February 1, and will honor assigned and personal work, multimedia, photo books, student photography and much more.

The 2018 PDN Photo Annual will continue the record of the best photography and multimedia made each year. The competition offers professional photographers the opportunity to garner recognition for new projects, while student photographers and emerging pros gain critical momentum in establishing their careers. $18,500 in cash awards will also be provided to special award winners.

The 2018 Aperture Portfolio Prize, an annual competition to discover, exhibit, and publish new talents in photography, is now open for submissions. The purpose of the Aperture Portfolio Prize is to identify trends in contemporary photography and highlight artists whose work deserves greater recognition. The competition is a wonderful way for young photographers to have their work seen by Aperture’s editors, and is open to anyone who is an Aperture Magazine subscriber.
