The 2018 Aperture Portfolio Prize, an annual competition to discover, exhibit, and publish new talents in photography, is now open for submissions. The purpose of the Aperture Portfolio Prize is to identify trends in contemporary photography and highlight artists whose work deserves greater recognition. The competition is a wonderful way for young photographers to have their work seen by Aperture’s editors, and is open to anyone who is an Aperture Magazine subscriber. The prize winner will be featured in an upcoming issue of Aperture magazine, in addition to receiving a $3,000 cash prize and an exhibition in New York.
