Mentoring and professional coaching both in-person and online during winter 2025
SCADextra, the university’s academic resources hub, will offer mentoring and professional coaching both in-person and online during winter 2025. We will also be offering a weekly Open Studio for School of Visual Communication on Tuesdays from 11am to 1pm in Adler Hall, room 143. Open Studio is a walk-in peer mentoring service, allowing students to get assistance from a peer without having to schedule an appointment.
Virtual appointments with our peer and writing mentors will be facilitated electronically in Eastern Standard Time (EST/EDT) through TEDU, our web-based appointment scheduling system. Below, you will find the name(s) of the mentor(s) assisting students with courses and software in your department.
Mentor: Olivia Zhang (MFA Photography)
Schedule: Mondays 6-10pm T/TR 8-10pm
*Schedules are subject to change.
Students can sign-up for one-on-one mentoring by visiting https://scad.tedu.app/student.
Students may sign up for 2 one-hour sessions per subject per week. Upon scheduling an appointment, students will receive a confirmation email from noreply@tedu.app
If students have questions about mentoring or difficulty using TEDU, they can contact me directly at bbarbour@scad.edu or extra@scad.edu.
Questions concerning writing and English language support appointments can be directed to hhighsmi@scad.edu or write@scad.edu.
