Musuem Photography Job Opportunity

National Deadline: Open Until Filled or January 1, 2008 - The Museum seeks a Photography Technician to be responsible for post-production/final quality control and color correction of original digital pictures for publication; and for scanning and adjusting existing film images for publication. The Photography Technician may assist Museum Photographers on set and perform routine studio tasks as directed. Requirements include a BFA in Photography, one year of professional experience, superior color perception and a strong understanding of photographic quality and technologies. He/she must have excellent Photoshop skills and proficiency with Mac computers and ink jet printers. Ideal candidates will be able to work both independently and as a member of a team, be able to anticipate workflow, and possess a sensitivity to handling original works of art.
