Group exhibition: 'SCAD deFINE ART 2026 Painting and Photography Showcase'

The annual SCAD deFINE ART Painting and Photography Showcase highlights the strength of the university’s top-ranked degree programs through works by nominated graduate students. The exhibition captures the diverse, evolving disciplines and current interests of emerging artists, offering a glimpse into themes and concerns shaping the trajectory of creative practice. In luscious colors and irresistibly tactile textures, selected works mine historical archives, examine the human body, and question societal structures, eliciting responses that move between familiarity, fascination, and uncanniness. Together, these works signal a new wave of artistic inquiry and unveil the inspirations guiding this rising artistic generation.

An Le, B.F.A., photography, 2012

Co-founder of international creative lab Now Open, An Le transcends categorization. From traditional visuals to experimental aesthetics, his studio specializes in global campaigns across luxury, lifestyle, and media industries. Originally from Saigon, Vietnam, Le earned a B.F.A. in photography from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2012. He launched his career in New York as a photographer for Vogue, W Magazine, Paper Magazine, i-D Magazine, and GQ. Le has since collaborated with high-end brands such as Balmain, Yves Saint Laurent, Chanel, Loewe, and L’Oréal. His celebrity clients include Cher, Naomi Campbell, Camila Cabello, John Legend, Lupita Nyong’o, SZA, and others.
