LAB 7, opening on November 15th

Alex Mendi (https://www.alexmendi.com/), SCAD Photo Alumna, is launching Camaleón, a new gallery and cultural space. 

Alex is curating the first group exhibition, LAB 7, opening on November 15th–an ode to experimentation and play. Please join us for the opening. The show features work from SCAD professor Deb Oden, M.F.A students Alejandro Giraldo & Ivy L. Anderson, alum Valheria Rocha, and undergrad students Hannah Esquenazi, Cameron Emory, Millie Desmarais, Eve Friday and Bethany Rooklidge. See attached postcard with all the details. 

Camaleón is a meeting point for Savannah’s creative community: a space for art, knowledge, and inspiration to cross paths. Poets, musicians, photographers, comedians, mentors and professors–there will be room for everyone. Through workshops, talks and performances, Camaleón's mission is to help bridge the community together.

 Join Kailey Courtney in her senior photo exhibition, “In a Blur” Thursday, November 13th, 2025 from 6:30-9:00 PM at Artstryngs Gallery 2nd floor. 

“In a Blur” reflects how quickly time has passed during my journey at SCAD: a whirlwind of learning, growth, and creativity. Over the past two years, I’ve fallen in love with motion blur photography and the way it captures energy, emotion, and movement in a single frame. Blending my passions for fashion and motion photography, this work explores the beauty of motion blur in portraiture and fashion." Kailey Courtney
