This is an open call for submissions for Lana Santorelli Gallery’s photography portraiture exhibition. Priority deadline for submissions is December 31st, 2007.
Submission Guidelines:
Please include your resume, brief artist statement, cover letter, and artwork detail list (including title, medium, dimensions, and retail pricing of each piece submitted).
Please email images or mail CD or hard copy of images, no slides please.
Please only submit work relevant to the theme described above.
We will not return submissions from artists who request their packages be mailed back unless artist has sent sufficient return postage. We prefer to keep artists’ work in our files to consider them for future shows.

Title: FAKES
RedSaw Gallery is seeking submissions for a group exhibition curated by Asha Ganpat. We are looking for artist-made sculptures and 2-d work depicting everyday objects which are completely re-fabricated, work that looks like
a real and mass-produced thing, run of the mill and un-special. We are interested in works which trick the viewer at first glance. Humor and irony are greatly encouraged. Open to artists working in all media. Proposals should include size (and frame size, if applicable) and a brief description of the submitted
artwork.
ELIGIBILITY
This show is open to all artists working in any media. All forms of art are eligible. There is a limit of 5 entries per artist. Entrants must be 18 years of age or older to apply. All work must be ready for installation or hanging.
REQUIRED MATERIALS
Digital submissions only. Please include in a single zip file: resume, images, numbered image list with medium, year, and dimensions.
DEADLINE
The FINAL deadline is Friday December 14, 2007. All entries must be received by midnight, no exceptions.
FEE
There is no fee for submission.
IMAGE PRESENTATION
JPEG images, please include a single reference sheet with image titles numbered. Include the title, media, dimensions, and date of the work.
NOTIFICATION
Artists will be notified of acceptance or non-acceptance no later then December 21, 2007. Notification will be made by e-mail.
RECEIVING AND REMOVAL OF WORK
All work is to be received between January 23 and January 27. Work may be delivered by hand or by private, pre-paid shipment. Artist pays for return shipment. Return packaging is required. No substitutes of accepted artwork
shall be permitted.
SALES
RedSaw asks for 30% from the sales of exhibited work.

The Altered Landscape Photography Competition

Newspace Center for Photography invites you to Submit your images that you feel depict an "altered landscape." From simple and subtle ways like gardens, power lines and billboards to the more obvious like bridges, power plants and factories the impact of humankind is almost everywhere we turn.
The competition is open to photographers using any type of photographic process, color or black & white, traditional or computer generated/manipulated images. There are no restrictions on the date of the image(s).
Entries should illustrate or explore the theme described. Newspace encourages individual artistic interpretation of its theme. We believe this will make for more diverse and therefore more interesting exhibitions. Please don't hesitate to contact us with any questions.
The entry fee is $5 per image, you may enter as many images as you like. Fill out the entry form and submit it with your images via email or physical mail with images on a cd. Entry materials will not be returned.
The entry deadline is Friday, December 28th, The exhibition will take place at the Center from February 8th through 27th, with an opening reception Friday, February 8th 7-10pm.
