SEEKING SUBMISSION FOR JURIED EXHIBITION - January 25, 2008
Collecting proposals for the upcoming exhibition INTO THELIGHT. Application is open to artists working in any media, whose work is centered on one (or more) of the following central ideas: LIGHT/ INNOVATION/ OPTIMISM. The requirements for this exhibition are purposely left abstract, leaving room for interpretation. Artwork may be 2D, 3D, installation based, new media or other. Light-based works MUST be safe for indoor exhibition. The exhibition will run from March 15th to April 26th 2008, Entry fee.

It was created in 1995 by the Department of Art at Stephen F. Austin State University (SFA) as an annual event for artists living and working in the United States. Works may be of any medium (except video or performance). Participants are eligible for $4,500 in awards, and each will receive an illustrated catalog. Exhibition dates are April 5-May 18, 2008.
