Opening Lecture and Exhibition

Join new faculty member Jeff Rich for the exhibition Devour The Land at The Harvard Art Museums via zoom Friday, Sept. 17 3pm.

To celebrate the opening of Devour the Land, we warmly invite you to a virtual salon following the public lecture. Both the lecture and salon will take place online via Zoom. 3-4pm Lecture Makeda Best, Richard L. Menschel Curator of Photography, will introduce Devour the Land: War and American Landscape Photography since 1970, an exhibition exploring the unknown and often hidden consequences of militarism on habitats and well-being in the United States. Please note that admission is free, but registration is required via this online form. Zoom details will be provided upon registration. 4-4:45pm Salon Please join Makeda Best, fellow curators and faculty, along with artists featured in the exhibition, for an intimate opportunity to reflect on the lecture, ask questions, and socialize.
