What you’ll be doing:

• Working cooperatively and collaboratively with team members.
• Working closely with our Brand Marketing, Merchandising, and Visual Design teams.
• Working closely with brand’s media contacts to get digital assets.
• Will provide weekly reporting through Google Analytics.
• Shooting and editing video to magnify the Zappos family culture to the world.
• Taking headshots and fun photos of fabulous Zappos family members.
• Assisting in the scheduling of AV team members and their customers.
• Helping setup Zappos family events.
• Learning new and exciting ways to make people look and sound amazing.

What we expect:

• Intermediate understanding of video/audio file types, transcoding, and lighting practices.
• Strong Passion for the Audio and Visual field.
• Exceptional organizational skills.
• Intermediate understanding of Microsoft office (excel and outlook) required.
• Must be consistent with and exemplify The Zappos Family Core Values.
• Photoshop skills – preferred but not required.
      
• Take extremely great care of the equipment while not losing or breaking anything.

Internship requirements:

• Must be in pursuit of a bachelor’s in a related field.
• The ideal candidate will have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Normal working business hours are Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm but may (Ahem–WILL) include work outside of these hours.
• Must be willing to relocate to Las Vegas, NV for the summer of 2013. (did we mention we have some sweet housing lined up?!)
