I am very excited to teach it for the first time Fall 2024. It was a Steve Mosch course. Steve was a master with color and truly devoted to the medium of color photography.
Color Craft PHOT 707, TR 8-10:30am
"This course is a technical and aesthetic exploration of the major color photographic materials, processes and techniques currently available. The course is designed to promote enhanced awareness and application of color as an aesthetic tool, with emphasis on the development of color printmaking skills. Prerequisite(s): None." This is a studio elective.
I am planning to teach the course with an emphasis of thinking about the
purpose of choices when shooting color, color materials, thinking about and looking at
color in the shooting process, color management for both digital shooting and
film shooting, through fine inkjet printing practices and material choices.
Please see the book below I have been reading.
