The Student Photographic Society (SPS)

Since 1999, SPS has been providing photography students with career building resources, networking opportunities and valuable industry information that can help on the road to becoming a professional photographer. SPS is the student association of the Alliance of Visual Artists (AVA), which includes Professional Photographers of America (PPA), the world’s largest nonprofit association for professional photographer

This year Imaging USA, the largest annual convention and expo organized by pro photographers, for pro photographers will be held in Atlanta, GA January 20-22, 2013 at the Georgia World Congress Center. Any SPS member is allowed to attend the convention and Photo EXPO for free! SPS Membership is $29.00 for one year and comes with additional benefits including equipment insurance, a monthly digital edition of Professional Photographer Magazine, and online resources and discounts.

We also provide SPS members the chance to volunteer at Imaging USA! Student Volunteers get free access to all programs and parties, a hands-on portfolio review by some of the best pros in the business, and free lodging at one of the host hotels. (A $500 value.)
