If you are interested in the following internship opportunities, please contact Tiffany Sperring at tsperrin@scad.edu.
Design intern: Main focus will be print though there might be some web opportunity. Opportunity to learn how books and magazines are produced from concept through sending files out. Assist and work closely with art directors. Will help with basic layouts of pages with design team based in Augusta, GA.
Photography: We will be looking for potential freelancers who shoot travel, location, portrait and food. We will look for students that have an interesting point of view and unique style. There may also be an opportunity for a photo intern at our Augusta office to do photo research/photo editing/photo conversion/photo documentation. This opportunity would allow the student to learn the client side of photography which is invaluable to any photographer.
Video: We are also looking for students with an expertise in video as potential to be shooting in the local markets close to where they are based. We expect to expand our web presence.
Students can view our website and publications at www.wheretraveler.com.
