Rashod Taylor is a fine art and portrait photographer whose work address’s themes of family, intimacy, legacy, and the black experience. His photographs are part of the permanent collections of the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History & Culture, Library of Congress, The Museum of Fine Arts Houston and The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art. Rashod is the 2021 recipient of the Arnold Newman Prize for New Directions in Photographic Portraiture. Editorial clients include National Geographic, The New York Times, Essence Magazine, ProPublica and Buzzfeed News. His work has been featured in CNN, The Atlantic, The New Yorker, The Guardian, Hulu, Forbes, Feature Shoot and Lenscratch among others. He lives in Bloomington, IL.
