Job Description Our Creative Marketing Art Directors are focused on creating photo content across all marketing channels based on established style guides and creative direction provided by our teams. Art Directors collaborate closely with Creative Directors, Digital Strategists, Merchants, and Brand Marketing teams to create innovative and on-brand creative content for our global brands. Candidates must be creative, collaborative, highly organized and immersed within the world of video and social media. Art Directors recognize the value of a connected brand experience from our digital channels to stores, have a passion for solving problems, influence in a cross-functional context, and deliver exceptional content. As a member of our creative team, you’ll be encouraged to push boundaries and stay curious in leading our brands forward.This job is located at our Global Home Office in Columbus, Ohio. What Will You Be Doing? Support Art Direction leads in the planning of photo content to support seasonal deliverables and deadlines.Create shoot planning documents inclusive of photography mood boards, casting, location, and hair and makeup references.Support photo team on post-production workflow and editing assets for marketing, e-commerce, paid advertising, social media, web and internal use.Support the workflow of internal/external photo requests for editorial, e-commerce, and social media use.Support talent casting process, proposing internal and external talent to appear on behalf of the brand in content campaigns.Act as Art Director on set, supporting and directing shoot team in content capture, model direction, and shot count.Be hands-on and willing to work alongside photographers, talent, and stylists to achieve the best possible image.Collaborate with stylists and photographers to ensure imagery showcases product according to established brand guardrails.Work cross-functionally to plan product for each shoot, documenting image direction and shoot needs for each product deliverable.Ensure all file naming and file identification is accurate for each content shoot.Ensure content capture is delivered on time and meets marketing department deadlines.Create contact sheets, product retouching notes, and all other necessary communication for post-production.Procure and coordinate props and production design elements as needed. What Do You Need To Bring? Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience 0-2 years of relevant work experience.Current art direction, styling or photography portfolioMinimum 3.0 cumulative GPAProficient in the following software: Capture One, Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Bridge.On-set production experience is a plus.General camera knowledge and camera operating experience is a plus.Post-production experience: editing, color correction, retouching, resizing, ice formats.Ability to concept post-production plans, themes, and styles. An awareness to trends and editing styles, plus an ability to concept and communicate original ideas.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Ability to work calmly, think and react in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.Team-oriented and optimistic with a highly collaborative and diplomatic approach to creativity.A meticulous approach to work; pays keen attention to detail.Open-minded; takes feedback constructively.
