Photojournalism Workshop
The Collective Quarterly is hosting a 7 day photojournalism workshop (BASECAMP) in Darien, GA this July (12th-19th) with photo editors from NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC, THE NEW YORKER & VANITY FAIR as well as Pulitzer Prize-winning photojournalists who also regularly work for THE NEW YORK TIMES, WASHINGTON POST, WALL STREET JOURNAL, and more.
Our goal is to facilitate meaningful connections between photographers and editors - as well as a sense of community and support among your fellow attendees. We believe that a vibrant and friendly community leads only to better work and better opportunities for us all. We want to do everything we can to bring stability to our profession - to serve as a resource, help hone each other's craft, and to raise our collective game.
This is an incredible opportunity for emerging documentary photographers and photojournalists. Being SCAD students gives you a home court advantage as well as the opportunity to discover a long-term project somewhere on the Georgia Coast. There will be student discounts available to those selected.
