The STEAM ROOM at the Southern Pine Company of Georgia is pleased to present the photographic works of Trevor Poudrier in his MFA thesis exhibition, Fleeting, and Other Bodies. By allowing framed still images to interact with a camera obscura installation, Poudrier confronts the viewer with liminal consciousness. He argues that the nonverbal language of photography is in many ways more effective than verbal language in providing access to the seeming illogic of liminal consciousness and dream experiences. An opening reception will be held at the STEAM ROOM on Friday, November 4th from 6:00 – 9:00 pm. The artist will be present and prints will be for sale. The opening is free and open to the public.
