M.F.A. Alumni speaking at Conferences

Several of our M.F.A. alumni been present at conferences this October.
At the Society for Photographic Education SE Regional Conference in Greenville, NC
Eliot Dudik was a panelist on the Panel: The Portrait as Performance. Eliot is currently starting a new photography program at College of William and Mary.

Shane Booth, M.F.A. alumni and tenured faculty at Fayetteville State University spoke as an image maker at the SPESE regional conference:Vulnerabilities Groom.


















At the Society for Photographic Education Regional Midwest conference in Madison, Wisconsin we had two M.F.A. alumni speak about their personal work.
Nate Abramowski spoke with his collaborator, Jason Rutter, about their on going documentary project: reDiscovering the Grand: A Photographic Collaboration and Exploration of the Grand River and its Watershed. Nate teaches at Grand Valley State University.


















Jeff Rich, M.F.A. alumnus 2008, currently teaching at the University of Iowa spoke on his ongoing watershed project: Multipurpose: The TVA and the Tennessee Watershed.


















Gregory Davis M.F.A. alumnus 2006 was awarded the Adjunct Faculty scholarship to attend the national SPE conference in Baltimore, 2013. As the scholarship
-->recipient he presented his work at the conference.






















At the Mid-America College Art Association conference, Mash Up, held in San Antonio, alumna Crystal McBrayer, M.F.A., photography, 2005 was on the panel: The Continuing Democratization of Photography: Smart Phone Media. Crystal is currently an interim Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Arkansas.
