The Crusade Engagement Grant : $10,000 award
The Crusade Engagement Grant is a $10,000 award to be given to a photographer, group of photographers, or project coordinator with an innovative plan to connect audiences and build collectors for photography. This unrestricted grant is created both to generate and highlight these innovations, and to underwrite the execution of the best idea.
This link to the grant guidelines explains what we are and are not looking for in a project, and also provides a link to the application. Applications are due April 1, and there is a $20 application fee. Finalists will be invited to complete a more detailed application (with no additional fee), and the winner will be selected by Whitney Johnson (Director of Photography at The New Yorker), Karen Irvine (Curator and Associate Director at Museum of Contemporary Photography), and Rupert Jenkins (Executive Director at Colorado Photographic Arts Center).
