Great Student Opportunity
Network of Museum Professionals
Students who have completed projects in object-based research, exhibition design, oral history interviews, museum web content, or public program development, please ask them to submit their work for consideration. This conference will give them visibility and connect them with museum professionals.
Students may also want to attend the conference as a professional development opportunity. Registration for the conference is normally $175. You may also want to offer departmental scholarships. SCAD students who wish to volunteer for the conference may receive discounted registration ($75). Student opportunities during the conference include:
• Emerging Museum Professional (EMP) Track of conference sessions on networking, career development
• Career Center for resume review & career counseling with veteran museum professionals
• EMP Affinity Group Gathering to network
• SEMC Ambassador and Mentor Program
Students who wish to volunteer should contact Susan Perry at SEMC directly:
