SPESE Grant Opportunity
Award: The Southeast region of SPE would like to offer four grants of $1000 each an undergraduate student, a graduate student, an adjunct instructor, and a regional member that is not a student or adjunct instructor. Grant recipients are asked to give a short presentation about their grant proposal and planned use of the funds, (15 minutes), at the next SPESE regional conference in Myrtle Beach, October 28-30, 2011.
Eligibility:
• All applicants must be current SPE members or become a member prior to the application due date.
• All student applicants must be enrolled as a full-time student in a 2 or 4-year undergraduate or graduate program within the Southeast SPE Region (2011-2012 year).
• All adjunct applicants must teach at a 2 or 4-year program within the southeast SPE Region.
Calendar: Deadline July 10, 5pm EST, 2011 Notification by July 21
