Student Scholarships Available for Summer LOOK3 Festival and Workshops in Charlottesville, VA

This coming June 4–9, LOOK3 will offer three workshops taught by renowned photographers Mary Ellen Mark, Christopher Anderson, and Alex & Rebecca Webb. The LOOK3 Workshops are designed to create one of the most comprehensive week-long learning experiences available to photographers today.  A festival pass is included in the scholarship, so just as the 6 workshop days come to an end, the 3-day festival of world class exhibits, presentations, projections, and interviews will begin.

LOOK3's featured artists in 2011 are Nan Goldin, Antonin Kratochvil, and Massimo Vitali.  We will also present the World Press Photo exhibit, Pictures of the Year international, and more on-stage presentations by Steve McCurry, LaToya Ruby Frazier, and Ashley Gilbertson.  More artists will be announced soon.

The deadline to apply for the workshop scholarship is May 1, 2011, and scholarship recipients will be notified on May 8, 2011.  For students who cannot attend the workshops, but still want to attend the festival there is a discounted Student Pass for $75.
