Make sure to check out "Art for Art’s Sake", Desotorow Gallery’s annual art auction, on May 1 at 7 p.m. The auction is the gallery’s biggest fundraising event, supporting Desotorow’s daily operations, aiding the creation of new programs and helping the Savannah area’s arts community continue to grow and thrive.
The auction will offer work by local and nationally-known artists, with all proceeds directly benefitting Desotorow Gallery. Artists featured include: Scott Griffin, Carrie Christian, Preston Orr, Craig Stevens, Rebecca Nolan, Zig Jackson, and many more!
The auction will take place on May 1 – a Starland Arts District “First Friday” event! Bidding will begin promptly at 7 p.m. and cease at 9:30 p.m. Patrons do not have to be present to win, as long as appropriate contact information is provided. Cash and major credit cards will be accepted forms of payment.
The event will feature live entertainment by Megan Jean and the Klay Family Band, as well as light fare and drink.
