Metallica's cinematic music video by Mark Dorf for 'Shadows Follow', from the album '72 Seasons'
I truly love the moments when art can seep into popular culture in such a huge way.

This month every evening from 11:57PM to 12:00AM, a special edit of
A New Nature has been screening on over 100 screens in New York City's Times Square as a part of
Times Square Arts series Midnight Moment. The presentation of
A New Nature in
Times Square is an extension of the concepts in the work itself.
Nestled within the endless motion and electrical currents flowing
through the glowing canyons of Times Square, the moving images harmonize
with their surroundings and enact their post-natural position.
I
encourage you to make a trip out to the plaza this month to view the
strange harmony and odd dissonance that is produced by the images
illuminating the plaza of Times Square.
In addition to the Midnight Moment,
A New Nature, in it's full length form along with a selection of printed works, is installed at
Public Works Administration,
a gallery located inside the 50th Street downtown 1 subway station here
in New York City. A reception will be held on Friday the 21st of April
from 9PM - 12AM at the gallery. I look forward to seeing you there and
venturing out into the plaza that evening at midnight.
