CALL FOR ARTISTS: JUNK IN DA TRUNK SHOW-
AN INDIE CRAFT SHOW HOSTED BY DESOTOROW GALLERY
SAVANNAH, JUNE 29, 2008: Desotorow Gallery is asking Savannah area artists and craftsmen to participate in Junk in da Trunk Show, an indie craft show featuring local arts and handmade goods, live music, and a network of creativity. This two-day shopping extravaganza will give local artists a chance to share their talent and love for all things handmade with the Savannah community. Artist vendors will be given an 8-foot plot on De Soto Ave. where they may set up a booth to sell their wares. The trunk show will take place Friday, September 12, 7-10pm and Saturday, September 13, 8am-2pm during the Starland Arts District Farmer’s Market.
Interested vendors may submit digital images of what they would like to sell to info@desotorow.org
(only handmade goods please) by August 1, 2008. In addition to images, artists should provide the gallery with their name, phone number, email address, a website (if applicable), a price range for the items to be sold, and if they wish to share a booth with another vendor.
After submissions are reviewed for handmade authenticity, vendors will be charged a $25 entry fee/booth. The gallery will not take any portion of vendors' sales. Desotorow Gallery is located in Savannah’s Starland Arts District at 2427 De Soto Avenue. For more information, please email info@desotorow.org, or visit the gallery’s website www.desotorow.org.
