Under the Umbrella is a glimpse into a social and political injustice
that took place on the streets of Hong Kong back in the fall of 2014.
Covering multiple perspectives over the span of a month the show brings a
well-rounded view on the struggle for democracy and electoral reform in
a city run by two very opposing political systems. The showcase of
images and a small print run of books have been curated to bring the
best understanding on a much larger issue that is still affecting Hong
Kong today.
This solo exhibition by Iain Gomez will be opening on Friday, May 13th, at 6:00pm at the Non-Fiction gallery in Savannah, GA.
