* Open studio with Ellen Susan, the only practicing (9 years experience) wet collodion photographer in Savannah

*Continuous live wet plate/tintype portraits of guests will take place on site - images can be viewed within minutes of exposure

*Opportunities to get information about workshops and private tutorials (to learn the process first hand)

*Opportunities to get information about internships (both with Ellen and with the Center for Alternative Photography in New York)

* 2 Chances to win a free tintype portrait.
-- Bring your eventbrite ticket - it's your raffle ticket for the first free portrait - drawing will be at 6:45
-- Best dressed/best portrait of the evening (subject to the decision of a panel of experts) also wins a free portrait - winner announced at 7:30, must be present to win. So wear something really interesting, or bring a great prop!

* you don't have to be photographed to attend, only if you want to.

• Chance to see a variety of 19th century and 20th c. photographic equipment, some of it antique, some of it just kind of old and broken down, but still working.

• We'll be using studio strobes to create a unique 19/21st century look. Old process+new technology = best of both worlds.

The studio is in the Starland area, near 38th and Barnard. Access the Eventbrite ticket page for directions.

Hope to see you there,

Ellen Susan
